Obama Uses Ken Lay In New Campaign Ad

Just when you think the Obama campaign could not get any slimier, it sinks lower than Fleet Street and uses the Enron card. In an ad for his pro-Big Bird stance, images of Ken Lay and Bernie Madoff are flashed upon the screen and called “gluttons of greed”.

The narrator also says that Romney “takes on our enemies no matter where they nest.” So Ken Lay is an actual enemy? If you accept that he was a criminal (and I do not), that’s one thing. But an actual ENEMY? Like Osama bin Laden? There is something deeply wrong with the language the Obama campaign uses to describe American citizens.

You’re confused. The point was that Romney considers needless subsidizing of a program that nobody wants (PBS) to be the enemy. Obviously, Romney would not consider Ken Lay to be a criminal.
